Abstract
In times of crisis of social transformations, value orientations in the sphere of labor, profession and work activity are under strong pressure from social and public factors, which actualizes the need to study the structure of the personal and professional axiosphere of young people and its formation in the process of obtaining education. The purpose of the article is to highlight the content and significance of value orientations for the formation of the professional axiosphere of future specialists. For the purposes of the study, methods of theoretical, empirical and statistical content were used: a literature review of scientific publications in the field of philosophy of education, psychology of activity, personality psychology, professioniography, axiology; an empirical study was conducted among higher education applicants on various aspects of the choice and goals of professional activity, professional self-realization, and opportunities for personal adaptation in conditions of an unpredictable professional and social environment. As a result of the study, it was revealed that value orientations are factors in the system of relations "personality - social environment" in certain social conditions. The importance of the personal axiosphere as a regulator of the system of personal and activity motives is considered. Value orientations are directly related to life goals and can determine the nature of professional activity. Unformed (not expressed) value orientations determine activity and professional ambivalence, lack of aspirations for professional self-expression and self-realization, and decreased self-efficacy. It is concluded that in the modern period, despite all the difficulties, universities have the opportunity to help students form their professional axiosphere, aspirations for professional self-realization and career growth in wartime. This will help generate a young generation of specialists capable of rebuilding the country in the post-war period. It is emphasized that education and professional training have a great influence on the value orientations of young people and the growth of the country's human potential for sustainable development.
