Abstract
The monograph is dedicated to a pressing problem of today: the implementation of the priority of social inclusion in higher education institutions of Ukraine, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of existing practices, as well as identifying key drivers of inclusion. Based on the results of the study, the authors outline approaches to the formation of an inclusive policy in Ukrainian HEIs and the higher education sector of Ukraine as a whole. The authors apply quantitative and qualitative methods to study this social phenomenon, rely on a solid source base, and successfully combine theoretical calculations and empirical data. The sections of the monograph reveal key aspects of the formation and improvement of inclusiveness in higher education: the current state of its development and the attitude of the main subjects of the educational process to it; borrowing and adapting the experience of increasing inclusiveness of universities in the European Higher Education Area; approaches to the formation of an ecosystem of social inclusion in educational institutions; implementation of European standards on access to higher education, equality, removal of barriers, prevention of discrimination; formation of a culture of inclusion in Ukrainian higher education institutions during the war and in the post-war period; financial resources necessary to ensure social inclusion in the field of higher education. For educational policy makers, experts, researchers, heads of higher education institutions, teachers and students.
