Abstract

The purpose of our study is to identify the impact of professional burnout on the development of pedagogical skills of pedagogical workers of a special boarding school for children with visual impairments. The study involved 32 teachers of a special boarding school No. 5 for children with visual impairments in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. The method used was: diagnostics of the level of emotional burnout V.V. Boyko. As a result of the study using the method of “Diagnostics of emotional burnout” V.V. Boyko, three groups of teachers were identified according to the level of emotional burnout: with no emotional burnout (16%), with emotional burnout that is forming (66%), with emotional burnout that has formed (19%). The vast majority of teachers (84%) have emotional burnout syndrome of varying degrees of manifestation, namely, one that is forming or has already formed. The vast majority (84%) are in a state of professional stress.
