Abstract

The monograph presents the results of a research project on the topic of «Development of universities in the context of post-war renovation: synergy of social and institutional transformations of higher education, science, and economy» (state registration No. 0124U001191). The problem of university development is considered in the monograph from the perspective of the needs and opportunities of post-war renovation of Ukraine that presents a historical chance to transform higher education in accordance with the existing and potential trends of the development of world society, science and economy. The authors consider approaches and formulate recommendations for determining strategies, directions, and measures for social and institutional transformations of universities on humanistic value principles; in terms of the role of HEIs as socially oriented institutions and agents of change that have a direct impact on the development of communities and regions on the basic principles of the third mission of universities; the use of AI-based technologies in the educational process; the status of higher education institutions as subjects of economic activity and the legal status of higher education qualifications; the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities of future graduates of higher education institutions in the context of post-war renovation of Ukraine. The publication is addressed to representatives of the university community, all academic, pedagogical, and administrative staff of higher education institutions, academic, academic organizations and institutions, specialists of funding structures, the general public, as well as everyone who is interested in interdisciplinary problems related to the development of higher education in Ukraine.
