Abstract
The publication reveals methodological guidelines for organizing the teaching of written speech to younger schoolchildren as a basic component of language education. It substantiates the importance of writing for the development of cognitive processes, academic success, and the formation of speech competence in primary school students. It highlights a system of key principles for teaching writing: communicative orientation, integrity of speech activity, gradualness and step-by-step approach, personal involvement, variability and choice, reflexivity, pedagogical support, and trust. Attention is focused on their role in ensuring the content consistency and procedural logic of the educational process aimed at forming motivation for writing and conscious speech development in younger schoolchildren.
