Abstract

The electronic learning course “Ensuring Occupational and Life Safety During Vocational and Theoretical Training Classes in Vocational Education Institutions” is aimed at developing knowledge and practical skills in organizing occupational health and safety within the online educational environment of vocational education institutions (VEIs). The course has been adapted to reflect current legislative changes as of 2026, including the Law of Ukraine “On Vocational Education” dated 21 August 2025 No. 4574-IX, recommendations for online learning under martial law and post-war recovery conditions, as well as aspects of cybersecurity, ergonomics, and psychological safety during distance learning. Course participants will become familiar with the regulatory and legal framework governing online instruction in VEIs, the procedures for conducting life safety and occupational safety briefings (both face-to-face and дистанційні), mechanisms for training and assessing knowledge in occupational safety, and the types of liability for violations of safety requirements in an online format. Emphasis is placed on practical risk management tools (cyberattacks, ergonomic issues, psycho-emotional burnout), integration with dual education, virtual laboratories, and online workshops, as well as preventive measures under martial law conditions.
