Abstract

The article examines the features of the implementation of the Conceptual Principles of Reforming Specialized Secondary Education at the pre-piloting stage in the 2025/2026 academic year, in particular, the testing of organizational and pedagogical approaches that determine the basis of the reform in the municipal institution "Chernihiv Regional Scientific Lyceum" of the Chernihiv Regional Council. This is about developing an educational model based on the institution's many years of experience as a senior specialized school, and new trends in the organization of the educational process. The research methodology was based on the study of scientific and methodological sources, regulatory and legal documents - to clarify the degree of development of the problem; generalization and systematization - to generalize the theoretical foundations of the problem under study, clarify the content of the concepts: «profile training», «specialized education of a scientific direction». The study used empirical methods (pedagogical observation, questionnaires) to identify problems at the stage of implementing new approaches to organizing educational activities; praxemetric (study of pedagogical experience, products of teachers' activities that provide in-depth teaching of subjects, specialized/interdisciplinary courses, electives, lyceum documentation) - to determine the effectiveness of the impact of approaches to the organization of specialized training. The comprehensive use of methods provided a holistic analysis of the quality of the organization of the educational process in the lyceum. At the first stage of the experimental project, the following tasks were solved: 1) to test new approaches to organizing the educational process, which included a combination of in-depth study of subjects, specialized and interdisciplinary courses, electives, consultations, and individual work; the formation of individual educational trajectories; 2) create a safe and comfortable educational environment using new or proven student support mechanisms to help them adapt to change; 3) identify problems at the pre-piloting stage and ways to solve them. The first stage of the experimental project involved 227 lyceum students. Of these, 121 were 10th grade students, 58 were teachers, 54 of whom were subject teachers, and 4 were group leaders. The goal was to test the effectiveness of applying new approaches to organizing educational activities in an institution that provides specialized scientific education. We conclude that modern approaches to the organization of educational activities in a scientific lyceum and innovative forms of interaction between participants in the educational process ensure the effectiveness of specialized training and contribute to the formation of individual educational trajectories of education seekers. The purpose of the article – to analyze the problems that arise at the stage of the experimental project (pre-pilot) of a senior specialized school, and to determine the prospects for the development of a scientific lyceum in the context of reforming a senior specialized school.
