Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of forming adolescents’ value attitudes towards others under martial law, which was prepared within the framework of the fundamental scientific research conducted by the Department of Education in the Border Region of the Institute of Problems of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, entitled “Formation of Value Unity of Student Youth in the Border Regions of Ukraine.” The purpose of the article is to explore the problem of forming adolescents’ value attitudes towards others in the context of martial law. The main objectives are: to analyze the current state of addressing the problem of forming adolescents’ value attitudes towards others under martial law; to outline adolescents’ priority attitudes towards others based on representative surveys; and to identify key content-related aspects for improving the process of forming such attitudes in educational institutions. In the course of the study, theoretical and methodological sources on the research problem were analyzed, a nationwide survey of student youth was conducted, and statistical analysis of the results was performed. Based on the findings, adolescents’ priority attitudes towards others under martial law were identified and compared with sociological research carried out in Ukraine in recent years. The obtained scientific results will serve as a basis for a formative experiment within the fundamental research aimed at updating the content, forms, and methods of developing adolescents’ value attitudes towards others in the context of contemporary challenges. The novelty of the study lies in identifying the value attitudes of adolescents towards others under martial law and comparing the obtained results with other scientific findings. The article will be useful for the researchers who study the views of the semantic sphere of personality valued and the educators who make, tht corresponding educational work with teenagers.
