Abstract

The content of the methodological recommendations familiarizes pedagogical workers with the features of conducting career guidance work in a general secondary education institution, the functionality of a career guidance counselor, and highlights the algorithm for conducting career counseling for education seekers and professional diagnostic research. Modern alternatives to career guidance are outlined: educational platforms and other online resources for career guidance. The materials of methodological recommendations are completed in accordance with the curriculum for training career guidance counselors for general secondary education institutions. The development of the content of methodological recommendations will contribute to the acquisition of career guidance competence of pedagogical workers in providing career guidance services to education seekers. Methodological recommendations are designed for pedagogical workers, practical psychologists, social educators, and students of psychological and pedagogical studies.
