Abstract

The theses reveal the didactic conditions for the effective organization of computational activity of primary school students in the context of competency-based and activity-based approaches. The importance of systematic selection of content, methods and forms of learning aimed at the formation of conscious computational skills and abilities is substantiated. Attention is focused on the role of the phased formation of actions, the use of visualization, variable tasks and practice-oriented situations as means of activating the cognitive activity of younger schoolchildren. Pedagogical conditions that ensure the development of mathematical thinking, independence and a stable interest in learning mathematics in the educational process of primary school are outlined.
