Abstract

The features of ecological education in a vocational education institution as a key tool for forming sustainable development principles among students are considered. The emphasis is on the integration of sustainable development principles into the educational process, the use of project-based and practice-oriented learning technologies that ensure the development of environmental awareness, a responsible attitude towards the environment, and the readiness of future specialists to implement environmentally friendly practices in their professional activities. The importance of ecological education as a component of training a competitive specialist capable of making responsible decisions in the context of modern environmental challenges is determined.
