Abstract

The article examines current trends in the development of Vocational Education and Training in the United Kingdom. It analyzes government strategies, the role of Local Skills Improvement Plans, and the National Skills Agency, while characterizing key systemic elements such as dual-track pathways, a competency-based approach, project-based learning, the integration of digital technologies, and the development of ‘green’ skills. Furthermore, the paper highlights the involvement of employers in curriculum design and the reform of public funding mechanisms, ultimately demonstrating the practical value of the UK experience for the modernization of vocational education in Ukraine.
