Abstract

The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to understand the importance of the competency-based approach in the context of the modernization of education through the prism of creating conditions and self-realization of each individual, which is formed in the context of economic liberalization and democratic transformations in Ukraine; the formation of general, special, professional competencies sufficient for the effective solution of standard and non-standard complex tasks in professional pedagogical activity in higher education institutions.
