Abstract

The working program of the academic discipline "Competency-based approach in vocational education" is compiled in accordance with the curriculum of the educational professional program "Higher School Pedagogy" of the specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences, field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy. The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to understand the importance of the competency-based approach in the context of the modernization of education through the prism of creating conditions and self-realization of each individual, which is formed in the context of economic liberalization and democratic transformations in Ukraine; the formation of general, special, professional competencies sufficient for the effective solution of standard and non-standard complex tasks in professional pedagogical activity in higher education institutions.
