Abstract

The article reveals the specific features of the national model of secondary vocational education (MBO), which is grounded in the principles of «decentralized responsibility», institutional autonomy, and deep employer integration. Particular attention is given to the functioning of the «quality triangle» (student–institution–employer) and to the role of key institutions such as the Education Inspectorate and the Organization for Cooperation between Vocational Education and Business.
