Abstract

This curriculum for the course ‘Algebra. Grade 8’ has been developed for general secondary education institutions in accordance with the State Standard for Basic Secondary Education based on competency-based and activity-based approaches. The document integrates the study of rational expressions, functions, square roots and the basics of statistics, focusing on the development of logical thinking and the ability to build mathematical models of real processes. The practical orientation of the content is ensured through a system of applied problems and the use of digital technologies, which contributes to the formation of key competencies in students.
