Abstract

The methodological guidelines present a program for promoting psychological readiness of the individual to counteract environmental and epidemic threats under modern conditions of global challenges. A structural-content model of psychological readiness is presented, encompassing cognitive, motivational, emotional, dispositional, and operational components. Significant attention is devoted to the role of the educational space as an environment for promoting psychological readiness. The expediency of using facilitative technologies in the educational process of educational institutions for forming adaptive response strategies to ecological and epidemic risks is substantiated. The program includes a description of twelve effective facilitative techniques, developed and successfully piloted for each component of psychological readiness, which ensure participants’ engagement in discussion, co-creation, critical thinking, and reflection. The facilitative techniques, presented in a unified structure, can be adapted to various forms of learning. An interactive digital supplement features all twelve facilitative techniques in electronic presentations. The methodological guidelines are addressed to pedagogical staff, practical psychologists, social educators, public health specialists, and all those interested in developing a responsible attitude toward preserving health, life, and the environment.
