Abstract

The manual highlights the current issues of the formation, functioning and interaction of various forms of education of children with special educational needs (SEN) in Ukraine. The guiding idea of ​​the manual is the need for unified methodological principles capable of uniting all forms of education of children of this category. In particular, a critical analysis of the new procedure for the formation of special classes for children with SEN in secondary education institutions is given on the principles that operate in the system of inclusive education and which, in the opinion of the authors, cannot serve as a unifying basis, since they do not contain a scientifically substantiated vision of the development of children with psychophysical disorders, which is most fully manifested in psychological and pedagogical diagnostics. A domestic psychological and pedagogical diagnostics is proposed to unify all forms of education of children with SEN, in particular, diagnostics of intellectual development of the individual, which was formed on the basis of L. S. Vygotsky's concept of the leading role of education, which leads to development, about the zone of actual and proximal development as an important prognostic indicator in the development of a child with SEN. Both the advantages and disadvantages of domestic qualitative diagnostics of the development of the individual, based on the principles of clinical psychodiagnostics and standardized tests, and the productivity of their combination are outlined. The issues covered in the manual may be of interest, first of all, to all those who are concerned with the problem of implementation and interaction of various forms of education of children with SEN in Ukraine, as well as specialists of inclusive resource centers, methodologists, practical psychologists and teachers working in the system of inclusive and special education, students of the relevant specialization, and parents.
