Abstract
The methodological recommendations focus on implementing a multicultural approach in teaching history to Grade 7–8 students within the New Ukrainian School. Multiculturalism is presented as a key value and an essential component of historical education. The publication outlines content features, types of sources, and teaching strategies that help students analyze historical processes through the interaction of diverse ethnic, religious, and sociocultural groups. The author highlights the competency potential of the multicultural factor, its integrative and interdisciplinary nature, and its contribution to developing critical thinking, communication, and value-based skills.
