Abstract

The material reveals the development of the special education system in Ukraine in the last decade, in particular, in the conditions of war. This is a consequence of the democratic transformations that began after the declaration of independence in 1991, which caused changes in the ideological, moral-value and socio-economic structure of society, caused cardinal shifts in the educational space, which positively influenced the processes of modernization of the educational system, in particular special, the search for its own ways of developing education in the conditions of the intensification of complex and contradictory globalization influences.
