Abstract
The potential of digital technologies in improving the teaching of psychological and pedagogical disciplines in higher education institutions is revealed. It is noted that the concepts of the image of the future of education in the conditions of digitalization, the definition of a strategic and long-term approach to digital education and training are united by the principles of adapting the education and training system to digital changes, which have an interdisciplinary basis, and therefore can be considered as a guideline for the development of each component of teachers' readiness to improve the teaching of psychological and pedagogical disciplines.
