Abstract

The theses explore the adaptation of the “dialogue of cultures” methodological principle to foreign language teaching in secondary schools under martial law. The role of humanities in ensuring students’ psychological well-being and shaping their sociocultural values is emphasized. The necessity of integrating war-related topics into foreign language education with regard to students’ age and psychological readiness is substantiated. Possible thematic areas for classroom communication that foster dialogic speaking, critical thinking, and a positive vision of Ukraine’s future are outlined.
