Abstract

Analysis of research by domestic and foreign scientists allowed us to identify two groups of criteria for the social responsibility of pedagogical workers of the higher education institutions: external (social-psychological: features of the social and educational environment) and internal (individual-psychological: responsibility, conscientiousness, self-control, self-organization, internal locus of control, etc.). In the structure of their social responsibility, the following components can be identified: cognitive, affective, value-motivational and conative. Indicators of the formation of their social responsibility of pedagogical workers according to the cognitive component are social awareness and social awareness; according to the affective component - positive feelings, emotions and states associated with professional activity; according to the value-motivational component - professional orientation (professional motives, beliefs, ideals and values); according to the conative component - social independence (the ability to foresee and predict the consequences of one's actions), the ability to reflect and empathize, and social activity. These indicators can be used to determine the level of formation of their social responsibility - low, medium and high. The main socio-psychological factors of the development of their social responsibility include: professional educational and socio-cultural environment, personal development of the ZPO teacher.
