Abstract
The article examines the socio-economic and pedagogical effectiveness of the vocational guidance and career counseling system for applicants for vocational and pre-higher education. Based on statistical data, practical cases, and survey results, the positive impact of vocational guidance on informed career choices, increased motivation, and reduced risk of unemployment is substantiated. It is shown that effective career guidance contributes to the formation of professional competencies and better adaptation of young people to changes in the labor market, while digital and interactive methods increase the accessibility and effectiveness of career support. It has been established that a systematic approach ensures consistency of actions and alignment of training with the needs of the economy. It is concluded that updating programs, digitizing services, and developing the competence of counselors are key conditions for improving the effectiveness of career guidance.
