Abstract

The authors reveal the preamble to a scientific study on the problem of scientific and analytical support for the development of a unified information space for open education, which will focus on highlighting the contribution of open science researchers to the objectification of ensuring the development of a unified open information space for Ukrainian education with the extrapolation of progressive foreign experience. The need to systematise and generalise the source and historiographical context of scientific achievements of scholars and practitioners regarding the functioning of open educational systems has been highlighted. Emphasis has been placed on the need to clarify the empirical validity of implementing these systems in the global segment and to develop scientific and methodological support for educational practice in this regard, particularly in the research process of studying the phenomenon of ‘Open Education.’ The authors emphasise the need to clarify the scientific and methodological foundations, content features, and adaptive components of the clustering model for information and analytical support for the development of a unified information space for education based on the principles of open science and data management, which will contribute to the development of a new information technology for the open electronic resource ‘Information and Analytical Hub for Open Education, Pedagogy and Psychology.’ It is noted that the research will be conducted on the basis of a transdisciplinary approach and will specify the current processes of scientific and analytical support for open education and science in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. It is argued that the accumulation of research results in reference and production-practical products, which will contribute to improving the quality of open educational environments based on the principles of open science, will have a positive impact on the effectiveness of education development in Ukraine as a whole. The authors conclude that the expected practical outcome of the study will be to meet the growing information needs of open education and science, as well as to provide fast remote access for a wide range of educators (teachers and students of all levels) and researchers (scientists and scholars) to high-quality information and analytical works by scientists.
