Abstract

Analyses the foreign experience of integrating children from Ukraine into the secondary education systems of Germany and Switzerland as a tool for addressing learning losses caused by the war. The study demonstrates that language support, psychosocial assistance, digital platforms, and career guidance serve as key resources facilitating the restoration of learning pathways, student adaptation, and improved academic outcomes. The importance of adapting best European practices to the Ukrainian context is emphasized to build a resilient, flexible, and inclusive education system during the wartime and post-war periods.
