Abstract
The article examines the impact of European integration on the content of school education in Ukraine. The relevance of the research is due to the need to align Ukrainian education with European standards in order to ensure the competitiveness of young people, their active participation in society, and their ability to engage in intercultural communication. It is substantiated that in the context of European integration processes; the modernization of the national education system is a key factor in ensuring the sustainable development of the state and its successful integration into the European educational space. The article discusses the key directions of reforming the content of school education in Ukraine in the context of European integration processes. Particular attention is paid to the modernization of curricula on a competency-based foundation, the implementation of innovative technologies, the development of inclusive education, and the emphasis on the professional development of teachers. It is emphasized that the competency-based paradigm is becoming a key element in reforming the content of school education, contributing to the formation in students of not only knowledge, but also skills, abilities, and personal qualities necessary for successful self-realization in the modern world. Special attention is paid to the digital transformation of education, which is seen as an important factor in improving the quality of school education, ensuring the continuity of learning, and preparing the younger generation for life in a digital society. The development of inclusive education in Ukraine is analysed as an important component of European integration processes, aimed at ensuring equal educational opportunities for all students, in particular for children with special educational needs. The importance of the professional development of teachers in the context of European integration, the need to reform the system of training and professional development of pedagogical staff, is emphasized. It is underlined that European integration contributes to positive changes in Ukrainian school education aimed at improving its quality, accessibility and compliance with European values.
