Abstract

The article shows how, after the declaration of independence of Ukraine, the issues of the development of Ukrainian culture, traditions, and language acquired special importance; it is proven that at all times, scientists have emphasized the importance of patriotic education as an integral factor in the formation of a mature personality of a citizen of Ukraine.
