Abstract
The modern educational paradigm requires interactive methods that transform students into active participants, with role-play being a key among them. Role-play simulates real-life situations, contributing to the development of critical thinking, communication, and emotional intelligence. Its structure includes a scenario, roles, and a facilitator. The method's effectiveness is linked to the active acquisition of knowledge, increased motivation, and the development of social skills. Although there are limitations, such as the risk of subjective evaluation and dependence on facilitation , role-play is a powerful tool for activating learning and the professional development of educators, requiring a deep understanding of scenario design principles and group dynamics management.
