Abstract
The article reveals the current aspects of updating the educational and scientific programs «Special Education» in accordance with the approved Standard of Higher Education of Ukraine for the third (educational and scientific) level. The purpose of the article: to highlight the key aspects of the academic discipline «Technology of Teaching Professional Disciplines», which is implemented in the educational program for the preparation of Doctors of Philosophy in the specialty A6 Special Education (by specialization). The goal, objectives, structure and content of the course aimed at the formation of professional, general subject, research and pedagogical competencies are outlined. The discipline covers modern methodology, the concept of higher education, familiarizes applicants with various technologies, methods, principles, means, techniques for teaching professional disciplines in the specialty A 6 Special Education, equips them with the skills to apply them in future organizational, educational, scientific and research activities. The importance of an interdisciplinary approach, individualization of the educational trajectory and an interactive learning environment for the formation of professional maturity of applicants is emphasized. The author highlights methodological aspects and effective practices of teaching the specified discipline. The features of the organization of the educational process in higher education are analyzed, which is based on the integration of interdisciplinary approaches, the use of innovative pedagogical technologies and the digitalization of education. Special attention is paid to the formation of applicants' competencies in the context of a competency-based approach, as a set of general principles for defining goals, selecting educational content, organizing the educational process, and assessing learning outcomes. Separately, the practice of implementing the discipline, the formation of design skills, organizing and analyzing pedagogical activities. Practical classes, in particular, modeling pedagogical situations and planning educational classes, emphasize the importance of selecting modern educational material for the individual needs of students. Attention is focused on the use of interactive educational tools for building learning technologies. The importance of the discipline in the formation of practical skills and professional skills of future teachers is emphasized. The results of the study contribute to the improvement of educational programs and methods of training doctors of philosophy in the field of special education.
