Abstract

The article shows the relationship between self-esteem and feelings of loneliness during crisis situations. It describes how individuals with different types of self-esteem experience loneliness during military operations. In particular, it examines the experiences of internally displaced persons and the importance of supporting them. The technologies for preserving the memory of the deceased, who died with the help of computer technologies are described. It is shown how undervalued and overvalued self-esteem differently affect the experience of loneliness. The article describes the ability of an individual to survive difficult circumstances, to develop from experienced crisis events, and how this affects self-esteem, loneliness, and the human psyche in general.
