Abstract
This monograph is devoted to the theoretical and methodological foundations of fostering national solidarity among school and university youth during wartime and in the post-war period. Based on the analysis of scholarly literature, the concepts of “national solidarity,” “internal solidarity,” and “transnational solidarity” are defined; the core moral values, factors influencing the development of national solidarity in young people, and the specific features of adolescent upbringing are examined. The study outlines scientific approaches to cultivating national solidarity among students in contemporary conditions, and characterizes the criteria, indicators, and levels of its development. Furthermore, the structural-functional model and pedagogical conditions for fostering national solidarity in wartime and the post-war period are substantiated. The monograph is intended for researchers, educators, students of higher pedagogical institutions, and teachers of secondary schools.
