Abstract

The article considers the integration of labor market trends into career guidance and career counseling for students in professional higher education institutions as career planning that guarantees compliance with the changing requirements of the labor market. The article highlights the use of up-to-date employment data and industry information used by career counselors to help students make informed decisions about their future profession, develop relevant skills, and adapt to dynamic labor market conditions. A systematic approach is proposed to help students understand new industries, anticipate career changes, and become lifelong learners. It bridges the gap between academic training and practical employment, contributing to the formation of more competitive, resilient and opportunity-aware graduates.
