Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of preservation, reformatting, formation, establishment and stable, sustainable evolutionary development of the network of general secondary education institutions in Ukraine. The article presents an analysis of the transformation of the network of general secondary education institutions, analyzes the legislative and regulatory framework, partially analyzes the standards and criteria for school performance in Ukraine, and also highlights a number of issues related to the problems of mass closure of educational institutions, without taking into account the place of residence of children and students, the existing and projected range of walking distance to schools and the impact of the demographic crisis, the presence of internal displaced persons, mobilization and external migration on, among other things, the prospects for the development of the network of general secondary education institutions. Our reflections are based on the fact that the preservation and evolutionary development of the school network in Ukraine has a deep historical character and has strong roots, stable and unshakable traditions, and significant achievements. The problem of unity of scientific, political, legislative, state and public approaches to preserving, developing and determining the prospects of general secondary education institutions of different types, status, structure, subordination and form of ownership is a strategic one. That is why the evaluation, management, adjustment and control of the development of the network of general secondary education institutions is considered through the prism of strategic strong management in the interests of the Ukrainian people, taking into account the fact that the Ukrainian people have always respected the Church of Christ, the School, as centers of Love, Peace, Light, piety, spirituality, goodness, truth, Truth, morality, culture, education.
