Abstract
The article substantiates the methodology for the formation of environmental competence of future nurses in professional colleges in the context of its focus on positive changes the levels of formation of this competence. This provides an opportunity for applicants for professional pre-higher education to obtain fundamental eco-oriented professional knowledge, their systematization, generalization and deepening, refraction in the aspect of environmental problems; the formation of skills and abilities of environmental protection activities necessary for the formation of environmental competence. The stages of the proposed methodology (motivational-value, cognitive and activity-practical) are revealed, which are interconnected and reflect certain features the construction of the content of environmental education in professional colleges under the new conditions of social development. This will allow future specialists in the medical field to gain experience in participating in environmental protection and conservation activities during their studies. It is noted that the components of environmental competence are not formed independently: they are the result of thorough consistent work. This competence allows modern individual to responsibly solve life situations, subordinating the satisfaction of their needs to the principles of sustainable development. Therefore, it is environmental education and implementation of its components in institutions of professional pre-higher education that currently require special attention. It is emphasized that the successful implementation of the methodology is facilitated by the organization of educational activities of applicants for professional pre-higher education with maximum consideration of the relationships between theoretical training, industrial practice, educational activities, that is, such educational activities that will allow revealing the individuality of each applicant in accordance with his abilities and capabilities, taking into account the conceptual provisions of professional pre-higher education, in accordance with the curricula for the training of future nurses in the specialty 223 Nursing, field of knowledge 222 Health Care.
