Abstract
The curriculum of the course “Social Technologies of Community Development”, which is part of the compulsory educational components of the educational and scientific program “Social Work. Social Rehabilitation” in the field of knowledge 23 “Social Work”, specialty 231 “Social Work”, for second (Master’s) level students, contains a general description, purpose, objectives, and program content of the discipline. The purpose of the course “Social Technologies of Community Development” is to develop students’ ability to apply modern social technologies for community development and to prepare them for designing, organizing, and implementing practical initiatives aimed at strengthening social cohesion, civic engagement, and sustainable community development. The course content is delivered through 8 topics: the community as a space for implementing social development technologies; specifics of social work in territorial communities; the essence and classification of community development technologies; participatory technologies in community development; social innovation technologies in community development; facilitation and mediation technologies in community development; digital platforms as catalysts for community development; social networks and digital tools in community development. The subject of study of the discipline “Social Technologies of Community Development” is social technologies as tools of community development and the mechanisms of their implementation. T he course volume is 120 hours, which corresponds to 4.0 ECTS credits. The form of final assessment is an exam.
