Abstract

The presentation explores the concept of decoloniality as a key element of the decolonial approach in Ukrainian pedagogical biography studies. It focuses on the universal-particular framework used to analyze the hierarchization of cultures and knowledge systems under colonial domination. Examples of repressed Ukrainian educators, emigrant intellectuals, and dissidents are presented to illustrate the processes of epistemic decolonization. The presentation highlights the importance of the decolonial approach for rethinking the history of Ukrainian education, restoring national memory, and overcoming colonial narratives in modern humanities research.
