Abstract

The article examines the activities of the V. O. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine as a leading scientific and information centre. The authors analyse its role in coordinating the work of educational libraries and supporting them in the face of modern challenges. The unique collections of the library, which number about 600,000 documents, and its innovative development model are described. Particular attention is paid to electronic scientific and educational resources (e-library, analytical reviews, bibliographic publications) and services that provide information and methodological support and contribute to the professional development of educators, scientists and library specialists.
