Abstract

Structural changes in the labor market are determined by the transformation of social and economic relations in the modern world, which is becoming increasingly globalized. Growing competition, the development of an economy based on knowledge and information technologies, changes in the nature and forms of work require a revision of the labor market regulation system. Internal factors of socio-economic instability are also important for Ukraine, arising from growing social tension in society, worsening employment conditions, territorial and professional imbalances between demand and supply in the labor market, as well as the aggravation of the situation in local labor markets. In addition, the military conflict has affected the opportunities for professional growth and development of skilled workers through changes in the industrial and service sectors, and restrictions on access to training and advanced training. Therefore, considering the social status of skilled workers in Ukraine during the military conflict requires a comprehensive analysis and development of strategies to support this category of workers in order to ensure their safety, protect their rights, and improve their socio-economic situation.
