Abstract
The article explores the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of innovative management of higher education institutions in the face of challenges caused by globalization processes, war, digital transformation, and the need to respond promptly to changes in the needs of education seekers. The importance of the transition from traditional management models to flexible, adaptive and innovation-oriented strategies for the development of higher education institutions is substantiated. Using the example of the Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education of the Higher Educational Institution «University of Educational Management» of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, effective management approaches were analyzed, in particular: the implementation of digital services, the development of a culture of academic leadership, the formation of an internal system for ensuring the quality of education, and the transformation of educational content in accordance with the demands of the labor market. The practices of strategic planning, project management, building partner networks, as well as tools for monitoring the effectiveness of management decisions are considered. Particular attention is paid to increasing the role of the management team in implementing changes, activating institutional development, and creating conditions for the professional growth of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical employees. Key factors for the successful adaptation of higher education institutions to today's challenges have been identified: strategic vision, innovative culture, digital competence of staff, openness to partnership, and readiness for continuous improvement. It is concluded that innovative management is a necessary condition for the effective functioning of higher education institutions in turbulent conditions, and the experience gained by Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuing Professional Education of the Higher Educational Institution «University of Educational Management» of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, can be used as a guide for other educational institutions that strive to achieve high standards of quality, mobility, and sustainability. It has been determined that the main task for the effective operation of higher education institutions in the market is the formation and implementation of an economically effective marketing strategy. Such a strategy should be based on a deep analysis of the market environment, understanding the needs of target audiences, and the ability to quickly adapt to changes. This becomes especially relevant in times of martial law, when educational institutions are forced to operate in conditions of uncertainty, unstable funding, and a changed demand structure.
