Abstract
The purpose of the article is to provide theoretical and practical justification and develop recommendations for improving the management of the educational process in Novokakhov Higher Vocational School. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are solved: to investigate the essence, content and features of the management of the educational process in a vocational (vocational and technical) education institution; to carry out a SWOT analysis of the educational activity indicators of the educational institution; based on it, to propose ways of optimization and a system of measures for the implementation of the institution's management strategies. Analysis of the activities of the Novokakhov Higher Vocational School demonstrates an example of effective institution management aimed at training qualified workers in accordance with the needs of the regional labor market. The institution is characterized by a developed material and technical base, a qualified teaching staff, close cooperation with employers and a desire for continuous improvement of the educational process. Systematic monitoring of educational achievements of education seekers, cooperation with enterprises, the introduction of modern management approaches and attention to social protection of education seekers are important components of ensuring the quality of educational services. State qualification certification confirms the high level of training of graduates of the institution. Effective management of budget and special funds, responsible attitude to the use of state property and cooperation with industrial enterprises ensure the stable development of Novokakhov Higher Vocational School and high-quality training of personnel. It has been proven that all professions for which training is carried out are in demand and competitive both in the labor market of Ukraine in general and in the city of Kherson. SWOT analysis of the management system of Novokakhov Higher Vocational School showed that the key areas of its strategic development are: adaptation of educational services to the needs of the labor market, modernization of the material and technical base and ensuring the accessibility of vocational education. The implementation of these tasks will contribute to improving the quality of training of specialists and the creation of a modern inclusive educational environment. Adaptation of educational services to the needs of the labor market primarily involves: updating educational programs taking into account the requirements of employers and the wishes of education seekers; implementation of a system of monitoring and analysis of educational programs; initiating the creation of new educational programs for popular professions («Painter», «Fabricator-tiler», «Installer of sanitary systems and equipment» and «Hairdresser»). To implement these tasks, it is necessary: systematic updating of the material and technical base to ensure high-quality training of specialists; creation of a barrierfree and inclusive educational space; integration of digital technologies into the educational process; advanced training of teaching staff to work with different categories of education seekers; modernization of educational premises.
