Abstract

The article presents a historiographic analysis of the problem of the digital information and bibliographic resource “Pedagogues of Ukraine and the World” of the V. Sukhomlynskyі State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine in the context of open science. The relevance of the investigation is justified by the importance of a holistic consideration of the Ukrainian scientistsє works dedicated to various aspects of functioning of the specified resource, which would enable determination of promising areas for further study. The concepts of pedagogical historiography, pedagogical biography and digital pedagogical biography have been updated in the context of dissemination of digital pedagogical biographical knowledge. The importance of the electronic resource for the popularization of pedagogical biographical knowledge has been emphasized, which, in addition, is openly accessible and, due to this, contributes to the implementation of the National Open Science Plan and the Concept for the Development of Open Science in the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine for 2024–2030. The Ukrainian scientists’ works on the resource under consideration have been selected, systematized and classified according to several criteria: the language of publication; the types of publications in which these materials were published; thematic focus. The results obtained have been visualized and presented in the corresponding graphs. The prevalence of Ukrainian-language articles has been found out; to publish the conducted investigations, the authors give preference to Ukrainian professional scientific editions of Category “B”. According to the thematic focus, all the discovered works are conditionally divided into four groups: publications that cover the digital resource in general; articles where the resource is mentioned in passing in the context of the issues studied by the authors; materials dedicated to a specific page of the resource; works where several pages are presented, united by a common feature. It has been established that the third group is the most numerous The prospects for further research have been identified, which consist in studying conference materials and theses of Ukrainian scientists on various aspects of functioning of the electronic resource “Pedagogues of Ukraine and the World”, as well as foreign scientists’ works on technologies of creation, content and approaches to dissemination of digital biographical resources in the information space.
