Abstract

The educational program of the social and rehabilitation field “Fundamentals of Psychosocial Support for Adolescents” is aimed at developing students’ competencies in the basics of applying elements of psychosocial support according to the “peer-to-peer” principle, as well as in self-support; and at fostering the ability to develop resources and skills for resilience in the context of potentially traumatic events. The program is designed for learners aged 11–16. The program can be implemented in creative groups of the social and rehabilitation field within out-of-school education, in clubs of children’s health and recreation institutions, and as part of the educational activities of psychological service staff in educational institutions, including the organization of “psychologist/social pedagogue sessions” and out-of-school activities. Accordingly, the number of hours devoted to mastering individual topics may be adjusted depending on the specifics of program implementation. Approved for use in the educational process (Minutes No. 2 of the meeting of the Expert Commission on Extracurricular Education dated July 9, 2025).
