Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the problem of professional activity of practical psychologists of educational institutions of Ukraine in the context of social and psychological rehabilitation of participants in the educational process. The relevance of this problem and the need to update the professional standard of the profession of “practical psychologist in educational institutions” are revealed. The article presents the results of the work of a group of scientists of the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Center for Practical Psychology and Social Work of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine on the development and implementation of the “Program of Professional Development of Practical Psychologists on Teaching Methods and Technologies of PostCovid Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Educational Process Participants”. The publication reveals the structure and content of the program, describes the process of testing and implementation, and presents the results of an empirical study of the formation of professional skills of practical psychologists in the context of social and psychological rehabilitation work. implementation of the program, the author identified 12 professional competencies that are necessary to provide effective social and psychological rehabilitation services to students, their parents and teachers of educational institutions. The results of the study of the formation of competencies in a group of psychologists of educational institutions of Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi regions who were trained under this program are analyzed. There is a positive trend in the growth of professional competence in terms of awareness and mastery of methods and technologies of postCOVID social and psychological rehabilitation of participants in the educational process. Indicators of the formation of professional skills in the vast majority of psychologists upon completion of training moved from an average level (38%–62% before the start of training) to a sufficient (30–60%) and high (30–47%). The generalized indicators at the end of the training ranged from 7.4 to 8.4 points, which is a sufficient level for effective work.
