Abstract
The article substantiates the created system of national-patriotic education in the municipal extracurricular educational institution “Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center.” To achieve this goal, a number of tasks were set: 1. To create a structurally logical model of the system of national-patriotic education at the Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center. 2. To determine the theoretical and conceptual foundations of the model of the system of national-patriotic education at the institution. 3. To characterize the components of the structural-functional model of the system of national-patriotic education. To achieve the set goal and defined tasks, the following methods were used: comparative analysis, structural-logical, systemic, generalization, and systematization of pedagogical experience. Results. A structural- functional model of the system of national-patriotic education “From a young citizen to a patriot of Ukraine” has been created, which provides a systematic and innovative approach to improving theoretical knowledge of the history and culture of the Ukrainian people and acquiring practical skills in making products from natural materials using traditional Ukrainian technologies. Approaches that need to be combined during the implementation of the system of national-patriotic education have been identified, namely systemic, activity-based, integrative, and prognostic. The main principles on which the functioning of the created system is based have been identified, namely: national orientation, integrity, continuity of generations, child-centeredness, and multiculturalism. The features of the integration of the educational and organizational components of the system of national-patriotic education “From a young citizen to a patriot of Ukraine” have been analyzed. Examples of interesting environmental projects for preschoolers are given. It is concluded that the created model of the system of national-patriotic education “From a young citizen to a patriot of Ukraine” provides students with an understanding of the history, values, and cultural heritage of their native Ukraine; it effectively works to strengthen their sense of identity and belonging, contributing to social cohesion.
