Abstract
The article defines and substantiates the problem of the expediency of technology teachers mastering the basics of the psychology of creativity, teaching gymnasium and lyceum students to use its components consciously in creative technical activities in technology. In the process of the conducted research, a system of the most important components of the basics of the psychology of creativity has been determined and the expediency of their use has been substantiated by the students during the design and construction of technical objects (products), the development of their creative technical potential, the formation of key and subject competencies. The essence and characteristic features of the following components have been revealed: thinking, technical thinking, inertia of thinking, creative imagination, creative technical imagination, as sociations and associative thinking, intuition. The place, role and importance of these components have been determined during the operational design and construction of technical objects (products) by the students using specific examples. For the first time in the educational field of technology, a methodology has been developed for teaching students to conscious and effective use in creative technical activities the specified components of the foundations of the psychology of creativity, both individually and in combination (their systematic use). It has been concluded that the above-mentioned scientific developments of the author can be successfully used in other areas, in other educational subjects, to solve issues of everyday life of an individual.
