Abstract
The article substantiates the developed methodology for integrating environmental project activities into the educational process of educational institutions. To achieve this goal, a number of tasks have been identified: 1. To create an algorithm for the implementation of environmental project activities in the educational process of educational institutions. 2. To determine the conditions for the effective implementation of the methodology of environmental project activities in the educational process of educational institutions. 3. To identify the advantages and disadvantages of environmental project activities. To achieve the set goal and defined tasks, the following methods were used: comparative analysis, structural-logical, systematic, generalization, and systematization of pedagogical experience. Results. An algorithm for the implementation of environmental project activities in the educational process of educational institutions has been created, which contains 5 stages, namely motivational-targeted, organizational-planning, project-practical, implementation- effective, and analytical-generalizing. The conditions for the effective implementation of environmental project activities in educational institutions have been identified, which include the creation of a motivating educational environment, ensuring interdisciplinary integration, involving external partners, using digital resources, and applying flexible forms of assessment. Approaches that need to be combined during the implementation of environmental project activities have been identified, namely project-based, competency-based, person-oriented, research-based, and integrated. The advantages (practical training, realism, integrated learning, critical thinking, environmental education, community involvement) and disadvantages (resourcefulness, complexity, project duration, assessment, initiative of learners, negative results) of applying environmental project activities in the educational process have been identified. Examples of interesting environmental projects for preschoolers are provided. It is concluded that the proposed methodological aspects of integrating environmental project activities can ensure the effective implementation of environmental education in educational institutions, contributing to the formation of environmental awareness in learners who are capable of practical nature conservation actions in the community.
