Abstract

The article presents the purpose and results of participating in the International Conference “Nature as a Teacher” held in the Czech Republic on June 19-20, 2025. The event was organized by the National Pedagogical Museum, Library of J.A. Comenius, and the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Center for the History of Education). It highlights the specifics of the conference's organization and its focus areas, which addressed the pressing historical and educational issue of utilizing the natural environment in education across various historical periods. The article provides information on the key presentations delivered by participants from eight countries (Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Ukraine, and others). It is argued that participation in international scientific and practical events demonstrates the resilience and innovation of Ukrainian science, its contribution to world research even in the conditions of war and post-war recovery. The importance of international research cooperation in the context of European integration is underscored as a vital approach to combating various challenges, including social, educational, cultural, and environmental ones.
