Abstract

The article presents information on the content and results of the implementation of career guidance activities conducted by employees of the Educational Design Department of the Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. These activities were carried out as part of the research project “Developing Career Focus in Students of General Secondary Education Institutions in the Context of the New Ukrainian School”. Among these initiatives was a round table titled “Scientific and Methodological Support for the Professional and Career Growth of Students During Martial Law for the Post-War Recovery of the Country”. The goal of this event was to discuss current issues in modern career guidance, outline ways to improve career guidance support for students' professional and career development, and explore the connection between ensuring students' career focus and fostering personal life success. Additionally, a master class, "Psychological and Pedagogical Workshop on Developing Career Orientation in School Students," was conducted. This workshop focused on exploring approaches to preparing future practical psychologists for work in contemporary educational institutions, particularly in light of Ukraine's transition to a 12-year model of complete general secondary education and the implementation of profile-oriented learning as its key component, effective from 2027.
