Abstract
The psychological support of the Ukrainian universities was analyzed. It was found that they pay enough attention to the participants of the educational process in the war conditions. In particular, psycho-corrective, educational, and psycho-prophylactic measures are carried out for students, teachers, curators, and employees of the university. The range of requests to psychologists was clarified – these are primarily issues related to feelings of safety, loss, trauma, and this is the desire to understand one's psychological problems, to receive help in making an important decision, to establish self-regulation processes; analysis of conflict situations, for example, with parents, friends or misunderstandings with teachers; solving learning problems, such as adaptation to new forms and methods in a new educational environment and a new team, etc. Accordingly, the psychologist's work is diverse in its forms and methods. This includes various socio-psychological trainings (communication, personal growth, self-regulation, etc.), informational meetings, discussions, lectures, round tables, group consultations. A special role is given to individual consultations for solving personal psychological problems of students and teachers. The participants of the educational process were offered recommendations on various aspects of self-help: physical, social, emotional, professional, and psychological first aid, advice on self-help in panic attack cases, how to help yourself in stressful situations, how to help yourself in a crisis situation quickly, information about the concept of mental health, about the social component of human health, about preferences and rest, about the correct daily routine. This ensures the solution of specific problems that arise in the process of personality development, contributes to the preservation of mental health, the creation of optimal conditions for harmonious and versatile development, self-realization and self-actualization, as well as the professional development of student youth.
